Congratulations to Senior Kennadi Knepley who was honored recently at our Senior Awards Ceremony for an awesome accomplishment. Kennadi utilized dual credit opportunities at Tri Jr./Sr. High School, dual enrollment courses at New Castle Career Center’s Early College, New Castle Career Center’s Health Sciences program AND Crossing the Finish Line AND Ivy Tech Free Summer to complete an Associate of General Studies degree. This is a 60-credit-hour degree that Kennadi can transfer to any other institution for a cost savings of over $20,000. We are proud of you, Kennadi! Great things are happening at South Henry!

Congratulations to our Regional Qualifiers in Boys Track and Field who will be competing in the IHSAA Regional Tournament at Greenfield Central! Qualifiers include Zavier Hanson, Isaiah Dewitt, Tyler Brooks, and Masyn Chalfant. Good luck and go Titans!

We are a few days late in posting, but this is far too good to let pass! Congratulations to Titan Senior Tyler Brooks for hitting for the CYCLE this past week against Purdue Broad Ripple. This means that Tyler recorded a single, double, triple, and home run in the same game. According to the Society for American Baseball Research, this rarity has only occurred in 0.149% of major league baseball games all time. What an incredible feat! Congratulations, Tyler! We are proud of you!

The Tri Jr. Sr. High School end-of-the-year awards programs will occur on Wednesday, May 22, 2024. The middle school awards program ( grades 6-8) will happen in the high school gymnasium at 9:30 a.m. The high school awards program (grades 9-11) will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the gymnasium. We ask that all parents/guardians enter at door 21 by the high school gymnasium. If you have any questions, please contact the high school office at 765-987-7988. We ask that all students remain at school after the programs as they will need to complete a final later in the day.

Tri Men's and Women's track will celebrate the season on Wednesday, May 22nd at 5 pm in the South Hall. Freshmen and Sophomores are asked to bring desserts and Juniors and Seniors are asked to bring drinks.

The South Henry School Corporation is excited to announce the hire of Mr. Tyler Stotler as Athletic Director of Tri Jr. Sr. High School. We are excited for Mr. Stotler to lead the Titan Athletic Program as we continue to chase excellence for our student athletes!

Tri Lady Titans Middle School Softball will have a donut fundraiser on Friday, May 17 from 7:30 am-8:00 am. There will be tables located in the breezeway and South hallway. Donuts will be $2.00 each. All proceeds will go to jerseys, equipment, and tournament fees.

High School Orientation is tonight in the Cafeteria at 7 p.m. All 8th Grade students should plan to attend with their parents or guardians if possible.

It was a special night on the Titan softball diamond as our awesome seniors were honored. Also, retiring Athletic Director and longtime coach, Mr. Peggs, threw out the first pitch surrounded by family, friends, and former players. Thank you for being you, Mr. Peggs. You will be dearly missed!

There was so much to celebrate at tonight's Evening of the Stars, where our academic teams, drama club, and speech team were recognized for all of their accomplishments and hard work throughout the school year. From a state championship team, to top 10 performances, to individual recognitions, it was a wonderful evening celebrating our students success. A big thank you to all of our coaches and sponsors for their time and dedication to our students academic success and for putting on an amazing event for students and their families.
