Titan family, meet Buddy! Buddy is a licensed therapy dog who has provided emotional support to both students and staff during our challenging week here at South Henry. Paid with just hugs, petting, and the occasional treat, Buddy has been amazingly helpful the past two days. We are incredibly grateful for Buddy and the many other community organizations who have lent their support during our time of need. We are beyond humbled and thankful to have such an amazing Titan family, Buddy included.
Tri's Head Start program will be holding an Open House on May 11th from 3:30-5:00 at TES for all children interested in Head Start for the 2023-2024 school year. We are elated to celebrate Bailey Parham (First Team All State) and Annabelle Searcy (Honorable Mention All State) for being named to the 2023 IBCA Academic All State Team. On Tuesday evening, the South Henry School Corporation Board recognized Margie Harter and Kylie Claar for their hard work and dedication to the Tri athletic program. Mr. Peggs stated, "I can't think of two individuals who put more time and effort to make athletic opportunities happen for our student athletes. Margie and Kylie put countless hours into ticket taking, bus driving, running the scorers table, and more. Words can't express my appreciation for the work that they do."
We are thankful for Mrs. Harter, Mrs. Claar, and the countless others who make awesome opportunities possible for students.

Kindergarten Round-up
April 13th & 14th by appointment
Tri Elementary is holding kindergarten round-up to determine the number of children who will be in our kindergarten this fall. To be eligible for Kindergarten enrollment, the child must be five years of age on or before August 1, 2023. Please complete the following information to provide your future student's information and reserve your appointment time. Appointment times begin at 8:00am and end at 3:00pm. Each appointment is 30 minutes. Students will meet with kindergarten teachers, school nurse, and speech therapist. We ask that you complete the form by April 1st for processing. If you know of a child who will be eligible to attend, please share this information. In case of questions, please call Tri Elementary - 765-987-7090.

Some of our American Sign Language students had the awesome opportunity to visit the Indiana School for the Deaf today. Thank you to Mrs. Hamilton for organizing the trip and to the Indiana School for the Deaf for giving our students a wonderful learning experience. Great things are happening at South Henry!
Pre-sale tickets for the varsity boys basketball sectional are now on sale in the office for $15.00 per person. These tickets include admission to all games. Pre-sale ticket sales will end by 3pm on Tuesday, February 28th. Tickets will be $7.00 at the door per person per game. Sports passes will not be accepted due to this being an IHSAA event. Tri will be hosting sectionals this year. Tri will play on Tuesday , February 28th against Blue River Valley at 7pm. Doors will open at 6pm. Come out and support our Titans!!
