Tri Elementary School is holding Kindergarten Round-Up to determine the number of children who will be in our Kindergarten this coming fall. On Wednesday, March 13th, Tri Jr. Sr. High School hosted the 2024 College, Career, and Internship Fair. It was an incredible success! Students spent the morning meeting with community partners planning for their futures. Students had the opportunity to share their resume and search for potential opportunities this summer. Over 40% of the businesses offered summer internships and over 90% were hiring full time jobs.
Thank you to all of our community partners for your attendance and participation as we work to help our students find their Path to Purpose. And, thank you to our Guidance team (Mrs. Fredenburg, Mrs. Guarisco, and Mrs. Claar) and the entire Titan family for putting together an awesome event.

This morning, all students in grades 6-8 participated in a convocation led by new interim principal, Mr. Lunsford. The convocation centered on student expectations and treating others with kindness and empathy. Mr. Duncan, superintendent, spoke about putting yourself in the shoes of others. The highlight of the convocation was a strong message of kindness from senior Graham Waltman. We are proud of Graham for his encouragement and leadership amongst our student body!

Our Business Professionals of America (BPA) students had an incredible trip to Indianapolis for the state competition this week. BIG thanks to Mr. Reid for his leadership and to our students for representing us so well!

Last night, the South Henry School Corporation Board of School Trustees formally named Mr. Todd Lunsford the Interim Principal at Tri Jr. Sr. High School. Mr. Lunsford has most recently served as the K-12 Assistant Principal of Teaching and Learning here at South Henry. A graduate of New Castle Community High School, Mr. Lunsford has previously served as a school administrator in the Liberty Perry School District and at Dayton Christian Middle School.
Mr. Lunsford will be the "point person" for 6-12 needs. He can be reached at tlunsford@shenry.k12.in.us.

Each and every day, the Tri family of educators works to find creative ways for students to explore their strengths and giftings, seek their passions, and be exposed to possible career pathways both both near and far. Here you see senior, Kennadi Knepley, meeting virtually with Jodi Barrientos, CEO of Ribbons Biolabs. They were discussing careers in the Science field and Jodi's work with rare diseases and genetics. Jodi was talking to her from Boston. Helping students find their Path to Purpose is what we love to do!

Reminder...Friday, March 8th, 2024 is a scheduled asynchronous eLearning day for students. Please plan accordingly. Students will not meet virtually with teachers but will complete work on their own. Directions for completion of work will be communicated by classroom teachers.

The Titan Football Program is excited to celebrate the signing of Senior Tyler Brooks who will continue his academic and athletic career at Anderson University! Congratulations to the Tri High School Fine Arts Academic Team for placing 1st place out of 16 teams at the Eastern Indiana Academic Competition Meet at Knightstown on February 26th. Team members consisted of Marki Stevens, Daniel Lopez, and Isaiah Waymire. We are proud of you!
