WHO WE ARE?

South Henry Scholarship Fund  is actually a new name for an old organization that has been around for many years.

We began many years ago as part of a national organization. However, in recent years, it was decided among the members that we felt that we could run our organization without the aid of a national overseer and  use the membership fees involved for a better purpose.

Our purpose is the same, and that is to raise funds to help our graduating seniors further their education by providing scholarships to their choice of educational institution.

HOW CAN I HELP?

The best way to help South Henry Scholarship Fund  is to become a member of the organization. This involves very little effort on your part, but can be so important in our cause.

There are no membership fees. We need you to voice your opinions and give us new ideas on ways to better raise the funding that we need

FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES

We have several various ways in which we raise the funds to support our scholarships.

*What many people don't know is that many of our South Henry teachers and staff also donate a portion of their paycheck to our cause. They have a certain amount taken from their pay and given directly to our organization because they realize what a wonderful cause it is and want our students to excel in life after high school.

*Finally, we also depend on private donations from our past and present student families, community supporting organizations and local businesses.

*All of these efforts to raise money for our students are important to our cause. And we can use all of the help available that we can find.
