Students will receive a credit for each semester class passed and ½ credit for each nine weeks class passed. A student must have

1. a minimum of 10 (ten) credits (or 69% or more of their classes if a student does not have 14 scheduled credits) to be promoted to the next grade level and

2. a total of 6 (six) credits or more from the core classes (math, English, science, and social studies) to be promoted to the next grade.

A student meeting both of those requirements, but having fewer than two credits in either math or English will be required to attend summer school for that subject area in order to be promoted.
