4th Grade Wax Museum
The Wax Museum is used to make Indiana History come alive. Each student is given a famous Hoosier to study, some that were born here and some that made significant contributions to the state of Indiana. The Wax Museum provides an opportunity for the student to "step into the shoes" of that famous Hoosier and share some information about them. On Wax Museum Day, the students portray their famous Hoosier. They will even dress like them and possibly talk like them. It's a great way for our students to hear and understand more about famous people from and/or in Indiana.
